Compatible Exothermic Welding Materials & Accessories
GOLDWELD provides a comprehensive range of exothermic welding materials and accessories, including:
- Welding Powder: Available in 45g, 65g, 90g, 115g, 150g, 200g, and 250g sizes.
- Mold Handle Clamp: Secures the graphite mold during welding.
- Metal Retaining Disc: Holds the welding material inside the crucible before ignition.
- Ignition Tools: Used to initiate the exothermic reaction.
- Cleaning Tools: Brushes and accessories for mold maintenance.
- Sealing Compound: Helps prevent molten metal leakage where required.
Note: The required welding powder charge and compatible accessories must be selected according to the specific mold model and conductor dimensions.

Installation Guide
- Inspect: Check the graphite mold for damage and verify compatibility with the conductors.
- Clean & Dry: Remove dirt, oxidation, and moisture from the mold and copper conductors. Preheat where necessary.
- Position: Place the conductors into the designated mold cavities and secure the mold with the handle clamp.
- Load: Install the retaining disc and add the specified quantity of welding powder and ignition material according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Ignite: Close the mold lid and initiate the welding reaction using the approved ignition method.
- Cool & Inspect: Allow the weld to solidify and cool sufficiently before opening the mold. Inspect the completed connection and clean the mold before reuse.
Safety Notice: Exothermic welding involves molten metal and extremely high temperatures. Only trained personnel should perform welding operations using appropriate personal protective equipment and approved procedures.
